If this year’s HARD Summer Festival theme had to be summed up in one word, it would have to be “naked.” On Saturday, the celebrated electronic music festival brought thousands of music lovers to Los Angeles’s Downtown Historic Park for the sold out music fest. Swarms of festival goers arrived in their rave-worthy best; dressed in the smallest amount of clothing they could get by in without earning them a police record.

Gallery Music Best Coast: Worst Traffic

Rumor has it, there were 10,000 fans in attendance at the Best Coast show at the Getty Center on Saturday night. This definitely explains the 405 being a nightmare, the Getty center off ramp resembling a parking lot, and the hope of finding a place to park anywhere in the vicinity of LA’s favorite hill top museum a nearly impossible feat. The show was part of the Getty Museum’s “Saturday’s Off the 405” – a weekly event featuring food, drinks, DJs, and some of today’s most notorious up and coming bands.

Chemical Brothers at the Hollywood Bowl

August 29, 2010, they came, unleashed a firestorm, and left in a flash.

It was a perfectly bombastic and electrified night at the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday. The Chemical Brothers were in rare form as they took to the stage for an insanely “up for it” crowd. Not known as dynamic performers, the seminal British electronic duo actually seemed rather excited about their Bowl performance – surprising those who experienced their rather lackluster 2009 DJ set at Coachella.
