If you’re looking for something completely different, the new Coen Brothers film True Grit has a soundtrack out, performed entirely by Carter Burwell, and the guy is already getting Oscar buzz after winning the Chicago Film Critics’ award for best score.

Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Miley Cyrus and Rihanna, to name a few, are all examples of female artists who by their sophomore album unleashed their inner sexual deviant. Taylor Swift might be next, but in the meantime, there’s Keri Hilson.
Hilson started in the entertainment industry as a songwriter for artists such as Britney Spears, Usher, Ciara, Ludacris, and now is a popular R&B singer in the limelight herself.
