After a night of club-hopping at San Francisco’s Noise Pop Festival, there was a different kind of noise we needed. And what could have been better for a hangover than an endless stream of calliope music, along with the bangs and pings of pinball machines and harpsichord melodies? Bob Suicide led us from the ordinary world of sunlight-drenched, boardwalk tourist traps into one of the city’s cult gems: Musée Mécanique at Pier 45, right along San Francisco Bay.
Bob Suicide hacked into the mainframe in 1984 and has been nerding it up ever since. A mild-mannered, computer programmer by day in the silicon-coated Bay Area and a video game vixen by night, Bob has a penchant for all things geeky, techy, and nerdy. The beautiful Bob Suicide (of Suicide Girl fame) and ChinaShop staple, Chris Gore got a little over-zealous while in vegas. And while there was a vast amount of drinking, eating, and Elvis involved, amongst the bad ideas, came a brilliant set of tantilizing photos. Ah, you have to love a weekend in Vegas well spent.
Although the marriage was short lived, the photos (god bless em) will live on forever.
