Geo Hagan

George “Geo Dexter” Hagan is a NYC-based music journalist and the editorial director of YRB magazine in Dumbo, Brooklyn. He’s a self-professed lover of music, art, fashion, architecture and all things pertinent to progressive culture. Most weekdays, you’ll find him sorting through multiple pitches from eager-beaver publicists, listening to CDs of weird-name, indie rock bands and wading through the never-ending internet blogosphere. Weekends, his favorite hangouts are shady dive bars and eerie abodes which offer that special, bitter-sweet melancholy that only true New Yorkers recognize. His life goals are two-fold: First, always keep things moving like a giant Ferris wheel and secondly, find a future spot on Forbes Most Wealthy & Crafty Scoundrels. His favorite saying: “Rearrange Your Mind.”
