Music A Young Photographer’s Voodoo Experience

November 8, 2010 - 11:20 am

MGMT Voodoo 2010

Music has always been a huge part of my life, so when I was given the opportunity to start photographing festivals I jumped at it. The 2010 Voodoo Experience is only the second gig I’ve shot and it was certainly one of the most memorable things I’ve ever done. Featured Music How Metric Measures Up: Voodoo Style

November 4, 2010 - 11:38 am

Metric

Emily Haines is a rock star. The Canadian lead singer of Metric owned the stage at the Voodoo Experience in New Orleans this past weekend. Her dynamic vocals, delivered perfectly made me embarrassed for those auto-tuning wannabees. Its refreshing to see an age of strong woman rockers emerging after such a miserable lull.
