Hailing from the desert of Joshua Tree, Gram Rabbit produces a sound that is distinctly their own – a style they proudly refer to as “desert rock.” The four-piece, led by Jesika von Rabbit and Todd Rutherford, cite their experiences with living away from the city lights and the magic of residing in a barren wilderness as the inspiration for their quirky tunes.
The band recently performed at the Viper Room in Los Angles, running through a set list that included “Hyena,” “Wheels in Motion,” “I Rest My Case,” “Off With Your Head,” Falling Debris,” off their latest album Miracles & Metaphors. They also revved up fans with “Waiting in the Kountry,” “Cowboys & Aliens,” and “Bloody Bunnies.” Their live rendition of “Candy Flip,” included Greta Valenti from Well Hung Heart joining Jesika on stage.
