Chinashop’s own Zoetica Ebb has developed a really cool concept – D4RT, a mobile art class that brings art workshops, supplies and public art projects to impoverished communities all over the world.
The first installment is going to take place this September in Yantaló, Peru and Zoetica needs support to make it happen. Check out the Kickstarter Video below, contribute what you can, and help spread the word!
What happens if I raise more than my goal?
If we raise slightly over $5,000, the proceeds will go to improving the quality of art supply kits I bring to Yantaló. If we raise significantly more than my goal, the proceeds will go to fund future D4RT installments all over the world, as well as a D4RT coffee table book.
• If I raise $13,000, I will bring D4RT to a Cambodian orphanage in the summer of 2012.
• If I raise $20,000, it will be enough to fund one more D4RT 2012 installment, likely a second visit to Yantaló to continue work on establishing a permanent art program there.
• The more I raise now, the more time and resources I’ll be able to devote to rigorous preparation and planning, establishing a full-fledged mobile art class and international network devoted to bringing art education and public art projects program to schools and other children’s organizations in developing countries.
