The soundtrack for the film “Hanna” (side note: really want to see it), scored by the Chemical Brothers, was released exclusively through iTunes last month, but I only got around to checking it out this week (and it subsequently became my unofficial soundtrack; listened to it constantly). If you haven’t given it a listen / downloaded it yet, I highly recommend doing so because it’s awesome. Favorite tracks are: “Hanna’s Theme”; “Container Park” and “Escape 700”. Grab it here and / or watch the trailer after the jump.

I really, really want to like Panda Bear (founding member of Animal Collective). I mean, hello, his name his Panda Bear! That alone pretty much requires me to love him and his music. But… I just don’t (his music, that is. I’ve never met the boy), for whatever reason (and same goes for Animal Collective). After a few songs, I get this irrational surge of rage and annoyance. But, I know there are loads out there who do dig his music, so for you, head on over to NPR to stream his new album Tomboy until April 16 (Record Store Day!).

Another teaser from Rome, the Danger Mouse and Daniel Luppi collaboration (with Jack White and Norah Jones), this time with Jack White. Stream “Two Against One” below! God, I can’t wait for this album (out via Capitol Records May 17).

Remember Incubus? Over course you do. Make Yourself was a great album. Well, after a five year break, the boys are releasing a new LP in July titled If Not Now, When? Head on over here to stream the first single, “Adolescents”. Makes me feel like I’m back in high school. Snap.

A few weeks back I wrote about Alex Winston’s undeniably catchy song about polygamy, “Sister Wife”. Well this week, UK producer Star Slinger offers up his remix for it! Check it out below.

If you like The Ramones and old sci-fi flicks than you will love this video: “The Ramones Live at NYC’s Palladium in 1978, 26 songs in 53 minutes set to a series of cheap sci-fi movie trailers.” It’s amazing, hilarious and surprisingly fitting.

Who doesn’t love a little Sade, I ask you? As previously mentioned the other week, her upcoming The Ultimate Collection will be released May 3 and feature four new tracks (including one with my future BFF, Jay-Z!). Check out “Still In Love With You” below. Loving this.

The Kings of Leon will be premiering their documentary “Talihina Sky” at the Tribeca Film Festival later this month (totes going! Can’t wait.). Via Hypetrack, “…fans will finally get to go on a behind-the-scenes journey from the humble, religious beginnings of the three-part brother and one-part cousin band all the way to the success that Caleb, Nathan, Jared and Matthew Followill have incurred over the past years. Intertwined with the band’s rise to fame are these of drug use and family disappointment, letting viewers know that everything has not always been peachy in the lives of the multi-platinum-selling, chart-topping rockers.” My love for KoL aside, this documentary looks genuinely interesting. Watch the trailer below. (And for those of you in NYC, head on over here for a film guide, tickets and schedule for the Tribeca Film Festival.)

Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino is one seriously talented boy. The ex “30 Rock” writer is currently on (the awesome show) “Community”, preparing for his IAMDONALD tour and continuously releasing new tracks. The latest is “Break (AOTL)” where he mixes “All Of The Lights” with his own provocative and personal views on various current events. Stream below.

Whilst perusing one of my favorite music blogs, Pigeons And Planes, I stumbled upon two new artists whom I’m completely loving. First up is Elena Tonra, aka Daughter, a 19 year old singer-songwriter from London with “Landfill”. Stream/ download “Landfill” below and head on over to her Soundcloud page to stream some more tracks.

Next is Lanie Lane, an Australian singer who is reminiscent of Amy Winehouse (minus the crazy) with her new track “Like Me Meaner” which she describes as “…a saucy, swampy number…” Stream / download below!

That’s it for this week!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Peace, love and Red Bull.
