I LOVE THE AQUABATS and I’m proud of it!  & while it feels a bit like coming out of the closet, I suppose, (I’m straight and stoked) It also feels good to stand up for what’s true and beautiful in this world… Pure unadulterated Ska music!  Today, Ska music may not float atop the main-stream, but it’s undercurrents will forever run strong in the hearts of it’s two-toned followers.

The Aquabats, led by Bat Commander Christian Jacobs, have been fighting evil, and touring since 1994 and if you’ve never seen them, do yourself a favor and catch these cult heroes in action.  I’ve seen the band a handful of times and each show has been more entertaining than the last.  Plainly stated, the Aquabats make me smile, and skank, ans want to start a band all over again just for the fun of it.
