Anna Wintour’s reputation as the feared editrix of Vogue is not undeserved.  She was, after all, the inspiration for Lauren Weisberger’s The Devil Wears Prada.  Her nickname is the charming epithet ‘Nuclear Wintour’.  Her haircut has been exactly the same since she was in her early twenties.

But here are some things you may not known about The Bobbed One.

- She once “disappeared” for a week with the one & only Bob Marley.
- She often eats steak for lunch.
- She is up every morning before 6am to play tennis.
- She recently got jiggy at the Met Ball after party with none other than Sean (”Puffy”, “Puff Daddy”, “P Diddy”, “Diddy”) Combs.

What?!  Yes!  It’s true.  Behold the glory.

There she is on the left, standing next to her daughter, Bee Shaffer.  Clapping, even!

- The Hold Steady – Magazines (Magazines & daddy issues, I know you’re pretty pissed, I hope you’ll still let me kiss you)
- Jay-Z – I Just Wanna Love U (What do you say, me, you & your Chloe glasses go somewhere private where we can discuss fashion, like, Prada blouse, Gucci bra…)
- Prince – Raspberry Beret (…& if was warm, she wouldn’t wear much more…)
- Lady Gaga – Beautiful, Dirty, Rich (Our hair is perfect while we’re all getting shit-wrecked)

- Fugazi – Nice New Outfit (You like the cut, you like the fit, wide in the shoulders, trim at the hips)
- Fritz Helder & the Phantoms – Lagerfeld Lady (Lagerfeld lady, there’s something ’bout the way you look tonight)
- Chicks On Speed – Fashion Rules (Fashion is for fashion people, it’s hard to be cool if you don’t follow these rules)
- Bob Dylan – Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat (Well, you must tell me, baby, how your head feels under somethin’ like that, under your brand new leopard-skin pill-box hat)
- Brother Noland – Coconut Girl (Because her face is on the cover of a magazine, & she’s got me all shaking like a Jimmy Dean, I wanna see the purpose of the make-up & the skin cream)

- Fergie – Glamorous (If you ain’t got no money take your broke ass home)
