November 23, 2009 - 4:46 pm
The Foundry on Melrose is a sophisticatedly modern bistro that was launched by Executive chef Eric Greenspan, former chef at Patina. The new 90-seat restaurant, located between Vista and Gardner has been renovated to utilize new world, industrial materials while reflecting an old world warmth and charm. This look mirrors the chef's cutting edge and modern flair amongst the foundation of classic technique. Eric offers an ever-changing menu; blending bold flavors, perfect technique and creative touches that reflect the American, French, and Spanish influences on his career. The mastermind chef describes the Foundry on Melrose's menu as "fine dining for the everyday man" and strives to prepare well-constructed food from superior ingredients. In addition to delicious fare, the restaurant showcases nightly events on a weekly basis, including live jazz, blues, and singer/songwriter nights which can all be deliciously paired with a cocktail or two. Visit the website for additional information.
