"Imagine how popular they’d make you at the staff Christmas party!"

Yeah, 'cause that's who this stuff is marketed at: who doesn't want a huge-$$$$ outfit to wear only once at their staff Christmas party? WHAT?! This article seems to be mocking the whole rave/fetish scene -- some people take this stuff seriously, you know, please show us some respect. "a fantastically bizarre addition to any fashionistas wardrobe"? You're not seriously marketing fetishwear to fashionistas? This stuff HAS a niche market, and this article totally ignores it!

Also "from (which should absolutely be worn with a little black dress) to uber-shiny knee socks & dresses for the sincerely futuristic Mormon Polygamist wife."
I'll dismiss the ridiculousness (and slightly offensive nature) of "sincerely futuristic Mormon Polygamist wife" (you know nothing about Mormonism either, it seems...) for a second, and just ask -- does this sentence make sense? WHAT should be worn with (shudder) a little black dress?!

Oh my goodness. I had no idea Toronto (I live here, hi!) had such gold! I thought Plastik Wrap was all there was in futuristic [wearable] fashion. REVELATION!

i can't believe how poorly this article was written. the author has no sense of fashion whatsoever, and these words downplay and pigeonhole one of those most unique, creative, bizarre fashion concepts on the market. chinashop, i urge you to hire writers who KNOW what they're talking about.

The first picture reminds me of an anime I have seen called Angelic Layer. It is about these miniature fighting robots (controlled mentally by their human owners).

The above picture shows some of the fighting robot/dolls. I am mostly reminded of the middle one in red (with the pink hair)

Cosplay CAN be an everyday thing! I do it.... Yay for being cyber/loli/raver/goth in general. You get to have fun dressing up every day!!

For the record, more photos from the model in the 3rd picture (The girl in the silver corset) See her DeviantArt http://silvergrey.deviantart.com/

I suppose it is if you are Gala, then, my hats off to you
I Just gotta work up the confidence to wear more colour
let alone a sexy mecha-femme bot get-up!
