We have a similar event here in Oakland: Art Murmur.

The first Friday of every month the famous Telegraph Street fills with fixie bikes, DJs, and the smell of People's Doughnuts fills the night air.

Staples of the street like Rock, Paper, Scissors see their business increase tenfold as people rush to procure the latest in indie handcraft designs. And, all of the local galleries open their doors to let me masses mull over the installations with thoughts of purchasing in their head.

Not even a basic brick building is safe, we artistic Oaklanders turn the sides of buildings into open-air theaters; showcasing our latest cinematic works.
